BERKELEY, S.C. (WCIV) -- Sheriff's deputies arrested a North Charleston man last week after they say they found 20 pounds of marijuana in his car.

Deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Montez King Oct. 18 on Interstate 26 at mile marker 203 after they say he made an improper turn. King appeared "very nervous," according to investigators, and deputies searched the car.

The marijuana was found, along with 50 grams of ecstasy. Together, the drugs have a street value of nearly $100,000, according to a news release from the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.

King is charged with trafficking marijuana and ecstasy.
