Moncks Corner man arrested on child porn charges

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Moncks Corner man was arrested earlier this week after investigators said they found child pornography on his computer.

David S. Pearson, 46, is charged with several counts of second- and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor,

The arrest is the second child porn arrest in a week in Berkeley County, according to a news release from South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.

The release from Wilson's office said Pearson admitted to downloading "some questionable material."

Pearson's two children were placed with relatives, officials said.
