One person taken to hospital following shooting

SANGAREE, S.C. (WCIV) -- One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Berkeley County.

Officials with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office say the shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday in the Sangaree area.

Officials say the victim was shot in the foot.

The sheriff's office has not yet said if foul play was involved.
