GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- The relatively new bike trail that was built behind the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center in Goose Creek is already getting a facelift.

Thanks to the Lion's Club, the biking and hiking trail is getting money for eleven 2.5" caliper live oak trees which will be planted along the trail. The money will also go towards decorative lighting, benches and trash receptacles.

According to Goose Creek officials, the money is going into the  city's Tree Trust Fund. For more information on the Tree Trust Fund or the Municipal Lake hiker/biker trail, call City Hall at 797-6220.
