CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The past was present in Charleston Thursday.

The Medical University of South Carolina a few years ago renovated what was once the High School of Charleston and then moved its College of Health Professions to the building.

Throughout the process, high school alumni made many philanthropic donations, MUSC officials said.

Recently, the classes of 1943, 1944 and 1945 donated several pieces of memorabilia - yearbooks, letter jackets, etc. - to the school.

Those items were unveiled Thursday in Charleston.
