New ramps open for Mount Pleasant drivers

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) - New ramps are open to help 526 and 17 drivers in Mount Pleasant.

The new ramps will help drivers get to Hungryneck Boulevard, both on and off of 526 and on Highway 17.

Crews are still working on the overpass, so drivers are asked to watch for the new traffic patterns.

That roadwork is to repair a sewer line on the Bowman Road on-ramp of 526 at Johnnie Dodds.

The ramp adjacent to McDonalds will be closed from from 9 p.m. Friday night until 6 a.m. Monday morning.
