LADSON. S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the Crazy Mouse ride by the Midway at the Coastal Carolina Fair for a stabbing Saturday night.

According to officials with the CCSO, they were called to the area in response to a fight that broke out around 11:45 p.m.

When they got to the scene, deputies say an 18-year-old black male was stabbed in his upper thigh and abdomen. He had multiple knife wounds and was sent to MUSC with non-life threatening injuries.

What started with just two people grew into a fight involving about 15, according to deputies.

Detectives are investigating the incident which they say is the only incident of note since the fair opened on Oct. 27.

There has been no reports of any arrests stemming from the fight.

The investigation by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office continues Monday.
