COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Hundreds of people turned out for a vigil near Columbia for a teen missing for nearly three months.

The vigil was held Sunday evening for 15-year-old Gabbiee Swainson at a shopping complex. The teen has been missing since August 18.

The "Night of Hope" included music and family entertainment to raise the profile of the search for the Ridge View High School student.

Fifty-two-year-old Freddie Grant is charged with kidnapping in the teen's disappearance. Deputies say the girl's blood was found on duct tape near Grant's home.
