CPD: One of five armed robbery suspects in custody

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston Police have arrested one of five suspects for an armed robbery that happened Thursday at an Ashley River Road apartment.

Isaiah Terrell Wittrell, 18, is charged with armed robbery and burglary in the first degree.  Bond was set at $200,000.

Police say the robbery happened around 4:30 p.m. at 1724 Ashley Hall Road when five men, one of them armed with a handgun, entered the apartment and robbed the victim of about $300.

The other suspects are all described as clean-shaven black males around 19-25 years of age.

Police say witnesses told them one of the suspects is named "Jordan." He is between 5'7" and 6' in height with a thin build. He was wearing dark pants and a dark hoodie.

Another suspect has the same description as "Jordan," but has a gold tooth. A third suspect is described as having a "one inch long twist hair style."
