Berkeley County Deputies make child porn arrest

HANAHAN, S.C. (WCIV) - Berkeley County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a Hanahan man on Thursday for child porn.

According to South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, 23-year-old Danael Theran-Gonzalez is charged with eight counts involving the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Undercover deputies downloaded four files containing child pornography from a shared folder and Theran-Gonzalez's computer, according to a news release.

The release states two desktop computers, a digital camera, cell phone, and several items of digital storage media were seized from his residence.

Charges include four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor second degree and four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor third degree.  Both charges are felony offenses that could carry up to 10 years inprisonment per count.
