SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- A man police say robbed three pharmacies in Summerville earlier this year has been arrested in the Myrtle Beach area.

Taylor M. Watkins, 24, of Charleston, is also facing robbery charges in Myrtle Beach, according to Capt. Jon Rogers of the Summerville Police Department.

Rogers said Watkins had been wanted in connection with "at least three armed robberies" of pharmacies. The robberies occurred March 23 and Nov. 4.

"It is unknown when Watkins will be transported to our jurisdiction for warrant service," Rogers said in a news release Wednesday.

Pictures taken from surveillance cameras at the stores robbed were distributed to media outlets following the crimes.

In each of the robberies, Watkins is believed to have shown a handgun to store employees, Rogers said.
