NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County sheriff's deputies responded to Elegans Drive in Hub Village Wednesday night for reports of a robbery and shooting.
Deputies say they found a 27-year-old man had been shot, and he was taken to Medical University hospital. They said the injuries were not life-threatening.
According to the police report, officers found several shell casings from a .45-caliber handgun, a baseball cap and a jacket in the front yard. The responding officer noted blood in the driveway and on the front door.
The victim's cousin told officers she saw the victim limping down Accabee Street and gave him a ride to MUSC. That's when she learned the victim had been shot, the report states.
Investigators said they are looking for a red pickup truck believed to be involved in the shooting. Investigators did not say what, if anything, was stolen.
