Man arrested by Marshals five months after night club fight

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) – Police have arrested one man in connection to a fight that injured a club bouncer in July.

On Monday, 29-year-old Maurice Thomas McCallum was arrested in Myrtle Beach by the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Apprehension Task Force. He was charged with one count of attempted murder.

According to the incident report, McCallum was involved in a July 15 fight at the 701 Club. When one of the club's bouncers tried to separate the men fighting, she was hit in the head with a pool cue.

After that, the two men fled the area in the direction of Conway, the report states.
