Former employee charged with theft at Vendue Inn's Rooftop Bar

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police have charged a former employee for the October burglary of the Vendue Inn and Rooftop Grill.

The suspect, 29-year-old Bricken Pierre Brown of Summerville, is charged with burglary in the second degree and possession of marijuana.

Police say he had 13 grams of marijuana in his possession when he was arrested.

The burglary happened in the early hours of October 21 when police say someone entered the business office and used a dolly to remove a safe.
