CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- One local business is turning clutter into cash and cleaning up the roadways.

From now until 9 p.m. November 10, for every political sign you drop off at either Triangle Char + Bar location, you will receive $1 in Triangle gift cards, good for food and drinks.

Bins are at both the West Ashley and Mount Pleasant locations: 828 Savannah Hwy and 1440 Ben Sawyer Blvd.

Organizers say at least $3,000 in gift cards have been given out since they started the drive Nov. 7. The promotion was started as an effort to reduce waste and focus on recycling.
