Teen arrested on murder charge after club fight

RIDGEVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) - Berkeley County deputies say they arrested a suspect for the murder of a Summerville man that happened Friday night.

According to deputies, 19-year-old Ishmel Taquan Rivers was arrested early Saturday morning for the murder of a man that occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Friday night.

Two men got into a fight outside of a club on Yellowstone Lane off Old Gilliard Road in the Pringletown community, according to Coroner Bill Salisbury.

Salisbury identified the victim as 30-year-old Dijuan Jacques Smith of Summerville.

A small puncture wound was found on his neck according to Salisbury, but it is not clear if it was a stab or gunshot wound.
