POSITION SUMMARY: WCIV-TV is looking for a creative and
energetic "visual storyteller" to produce content for our newscasts and website.
Duties will include, but not limited to, shooting and editing packages, vo/sots,
and ENG live truck operation. Must be able to work alone or collaboratively
with reporters and producers. Must care for and maintain all assigned
equipment, including basic vehicle care. Must safely and courteously operate a station
news vehicles at all times. Must serve
in our on-call photojournalist rotation or as assigned by management. We are an
HD station, shooting on JVC GY-HM790/750 cameras and editing Adobe Premier CS5.

degree in communications field or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be
substituted for education requirements.
One year demonstrated TV photojournalism experience preferred. Have or acquire knowledge of metro Charleston
& SC geographic area. Must possess or acquire valid SC driver's license and
able to operate company vehicles in a safe manner. Three-year driving record to be provided
prior to hire. ENG live truck experience necessary. Available to work flexible,
irregular hours, nights, holidays and weekends to meet needs of news coverage.
Capable of handling physical lifting requirements and maintaining equipment.
