Bluffton man arrested on child porn charges

BLUFFTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Bluffton man is charged with distributing child pornography after investigators say he used a file sharing network the distribute the materials.

Dennis K. Bennett, 63, is charged with three counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Bennett admitted downloading and sharing "several files" containing child pornography, according to a news release from South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.

Wilson said the arrest came after an undercover investigation. One desktop computer, two laptop computers and other items were taken from Bennett's home after a search warrant was served Friday, the news release said.
