GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Celebrity chef Paula Deen is in Greenville this week to help a grocery store chain kick off a holiday charity effort.
Bi-Lo says Deen is in town Wednesday to help kick off the company's Holiday Hunger Relief program.
The Greenville-based company says Deen is speaking and making a donation to four food banks in the Upstate area. People who attend can enter to win prizes including autographed cookbooks and gift cards.
Until Dec. 26, Bi-Lo is asking customers to donate money or food to a local food pantry.
