Tip leads police to alleged robber

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A tip from a concerned citizen led police to arrest a man they say robbed another man outside his Coming Street home early Sunday.

Darnell D. Campbell, 32, is charged with strong-armed robbery.

The victim of the robbery said someone followed him from King Street to the Coming Street address around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. The suspect's cellphone and wallet were taken.
