Two arrested in string of burglaries in Walterboro

WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCIV) -- Two men were arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in Walterboro, officials said Thursday.

Ronald Frost, 29, was charged with three counts of second-degree burglary.

Winston Smith is wanted on charges of second-degree burglary, according to a news release from Walterboro Public Safety.

A third man was charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary and two counts of receiving stolen goods. According to court documents, the burglary charges against the man were dropped in March.

Public Safety officials said the arrests stem from incidents ranging from Sept. 28 to Nov. 5. They involved stolen items being sold online and in pawn shops.
