Sheriff Cannon announces moves within the CCSO

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Sheriff Al Cannon announced a few changes in his office on Friday.

Chief Deputy Mitch Lucas has been appointed Acting Assistant Sheriff. That position was previously held by Andrene Coury-Smith.

Major Ollie Puckett was relieved of duties related to "Executive Concerns."

Sheriff Cannon cited a need for a new direction in the positions, as his reason for the changes.  He did not comment further on the changes.
