Robbery charges added for Lee Street shooting suspect

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A North Charleston teen who was arrested for a shooting at a Lee Street apartment has now also been charged with robbing the victim.  

Antuane Jamal Means, 18, was initially charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Means has now been charged with armed robbery as well.

The incident happened around 12:15 p.m. November 13 when police say Means and another suspect entered the apartment, robbed 18-year-old Tyrek Delray Varns and then shot him. Police arrived on scene and found Varns lying on the kitchen floor of the apartment with a gunshot wound to his face.

Police are still looking for the other suspect who is described as a black male wearing a yellow construction vest and a baseball cap with a black brim.
