SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- Technology increasingly governs many aspects of our lives.
And administrators with Dorchester School District Two want to show parents of students in the district how to use that technology to their advantage.
The school district has planned three "technology nights" designed to teach parents how to check their child's grades and attendance online, register for their school's website and other web-based activities.
Parents can also learn how to "connect through social media such as Facebook and Twitter," said district public information officer Pat Raynor in a news release Monday.
The dates of the technology meetings are as follows:
Nov. 27 - Fort Dorchester High School
Nov. 28 - Summerville High School
Dec. 3 - Ashley Ridge High School
All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last for about an hour, Raynor said. The meetings will be held in the school's media center.
