CPD arrest man for King Street armed robbery

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A North Charleston man has been arrested by Charleston Police for an armed robbery that happened near King Street and Huger Street.

Police say 51-year-old Anthony R. Brown is charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

The robbery happened November 13 around 10 p.m. Police say a man, armed with a gun, came up to the victim and robbed him. No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
