NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – Charleston County deputies arrested one man in connection to a Nov. 9 fatal shooting in Adams Run.

According to deputies, James Samuel Moultrie was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice and willful destruction of evidence in relation to the shooting death of Nathaniel Gordon.

During the investigation, deputies learned the shooting happened during an attempted robbery and that Moultrie provided false information to investigators in relation to the robbery and shooting, deputies said.

Deputies said Tuesday they are still working to find out who was responsible for the attempted robbery and what led to the shooting. They added that a weapon has not yet been found.

Detectives are seeking Tavern Deon "P.T." Wright and Deangelo Martequiz "DeeDee" Brown on obstruction of justice warrants in the same case.

Moultrie's bond was set at $50,000 for both charges, deputies said.

Anyone with information in the case or knowing the location of Brown and or Wright is asked to contact the Charleston County Sheriff's Office at 843-202-1700 or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
