Shooting sends one to MUSC

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The search is on for a suspect after a man was shot in Charleston Tuesday night.

A spokesperson for the Charleston Police Department says the shooting happened at 1433 Westway Drive around 9 p.m.

One person was taken to the MUSC after being shot in the leg. The injury is not believed to be life threatening.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
