Pedestrian struck and killed in North Charleston

Posted: Updated:

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)--The South Carolina Highway patrol is investigating a deadly Black Friday Collision.

Dorchester County Cororner Chris Nisbet says 33-year-old Vincent T. Kemp was struck and killed crossing Ashley Phosphate Road near Old Hertz Road just after midnight.

Because there were no witnesses of the accident, an autopsy will be completed Friday to assure Kemp died from the collision.

The driver and a passenger were not injured.
