WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCIV) - A wanted man who jumped through a window and escaped deputies on Friday, was captured on Monday.  Christopher Sible tried to jump through another window Monday, but deputies were waiting outside.

According to Colleton County Sheriff George Malone, Sible was found Monday at the residence of Chris Morton on 118 Dublin Street in Walterboro.

Sible was on the Sheriff's Office Top Ten Most Wanted list for assault and battery.  Deputies attempted to serve a warrant for Sible's arrest on Friday.

Deputies say Sible bolted from a closet and dove through a closed window on Friday when deputies entered the home on Pleasant Grove Road.

Deputies pursued Sible by foot, but he got away into a wooded area.

Sheriff Malone says Sible tried to escape through an open window on Monday, but deputies were waiting outside where he was taken into custody.

Christopher Sible is charged with assault and battery 3rd degree and resisting arrest with injury to an officer, according to deputies.

A deputy was injured in the pursuit Friday. Deputies say the officer fell during the foot pursuit and needed several stitches.

Deputies also arrested Chris Morton for harboring a fugitive.
