CPD: Folly Beach man was running pot growing operation

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police arrested a man for operating a marijuana grow operation in a West Ashley business. 

According to police, Christopher Paul Durand, 42, of 1403 East Ashley Ave., was charged with trafficking marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

Durand is being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center, officials said.

Officers took 112 marijuana plants and 234 grams of loose marijuana out of the business.
