
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – The Red Cross helped four families displaced by fires in four different locations on Tuesday.
According to the Red Cross, agency volunteers helped two Ladson families, a North Charleston family and a Goose Creek family after their homes were destroyed by fire.
The Red Cross said they have seen a spike in the number of fires since Nov. 1. According to the agency, volunteers have helped 108 people since the start of the month.
The Red Cross also assisted families displaced by the apartment fire in North Charleston on Monday evening.
