Still shot of surveillance video (provided)
EUTAWVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Orangeburg Sheriff's Office has released photos from surveillance video taken at the scene of a burglary and they need the public's help to identify the suspects.
The burglary happened at a mobile home on Old Highway Six between 2:58 p.m. and 4:55 p.m. on Nov. 9.
"Our investigation indicates there were
several vehicles that passed by the individuals as they were approaching the
residence," Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said. "We are also releasing a photo of one of the vehicles in hopes we will
be able to collect some more information about this pair."
Ravenell also said that while the two suspects may not be responsible, a number of other burglaries have been happening in the area.
"As the holidays
continue, we ask residents to be vigilant for their homes and as well as their
neighbors," said Ravenell. "Do not leave boxes from your new television purchase on the curb or
in your yard. Do not leave blinds or curtains open so anyone walking by can see
the gifts under your tree. Please take any steps to make it harder for criminals
to steal your property and gifts."
