LINCOLNVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) - Charleston County Sheriff's Office Captain Eric Watson on Friday said deputies discovered a meth lab at 500 East Owen Drive in Lincolnville.
According to Watson, the small lab was discovered around 10:30 a.m. East Owen Drive near Watson Road was blocked off until approximately 3:00 p.m., he said.
Watson said no residents were required to leave their homes, but the sheriff's office asked all residents to remain inside while the scene was cleared by deputies.
According to Watson, deputies arrested Reid Anthony Brown just before noon Friday and charged him with manufacturing methamphetamine.
He was issued a $100,000 bond Saturday morning and remains behind bars.
The sheriff's office worked with the Charleston City Fire Department, Charleston County Emergency Medical Services and the City of Charleston Hazard Material Team.
