ST. GEORGE, S.C. (WCIV) - A man accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from people faced a judge in bond court on Friday.

Christopher Felber, 23, was charged with writing a fraudulent check in Dorchester County. A victim who was in bond court Friday accused Felber of taking advantage of more than 25 people.

Felber was charged in Berkeley County this past summer when he was accused of writing more than $50,000 in bad checks.

His bond was set at $50,000 on Friday.  Victims said that amount is too low.

"That's what bothers me," said victim Gerhart Jung. "If he gets out, he will not stop today or tomorrow."

Felber is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13 in Dorchester County.
