CHARLESTON, SC (WCIV) - Goose Creek Gator Tramel Terry won South Carolina's highest football honor, Mr. Football.
What a day it was for the senior wide receiver. Earlier in the day, Terry signed his letter-of-intent to play college football at the University of Georgia.
Also nominated for Mr. Football : T.L. Hanna linebacker Ben Boulware, Byrnes' wide receiver Akia Booker, Strom Thurmond quarterback Darius Hammond and Conway quarterback Mykal Moody.
Terry became the first Mr Football from the Lowcountry since Stratford's Moe Thompson who won the award in 1991.
