NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Police responded to shots fired in the area of Mo Mart on Dorcester Road around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say the victim was with friends driving out of the Mo Mart when an unknown suspect shot at their van.  The rear window of the van was shattered and the front end sustained damage from the collision.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene and collided with a Ford Crown Victoria.

No one on the scene had any description of the suspects or the suspect vehicle.  Police say there was no evidence on the scene.

According to a police report, the victim fled the scene as well until he reached Alvie Street.

The report states an anonymous caller saw someone flee from the victim's van.  The report states that the fleeing person was wearing a red shirt and black pants and allegedly concealed a firearm in his pants before leaving the scene.

Police say the victim, the driver of the shot van, voluntarily consented to speaking with detectives.
