New drag-and-drop tool provides Etsy sellers a simple way to collect email subscribers and sell products.
Chalfont, PA (PRWEB) December 11, 2012
AWeber, an email marketing software serving over 100,000 small businesses around the world, today announced an integration with Etsy that allows sellers to add customers as email subscribers at the time of purchase and easily promote products in email with a drag-and-drop product feature.
“Email is an awesome way to keep in touch with your customers and remind them about products in your shop,” said Amanda Gagnon, AWeber's Senior Education Marketing Associate and owner of the Etsy shop Cocoa and Shea. “Our integration with Etsy makes it super simple to add featured products to your emails. With just a few clicks, you're on your way to a better connection with your customers.”
Through AWeber's new tool, Etsy sellers have access to a broader range of marketing opportunities using the power of email. “Email marketing, in my opinion, is crucial. Not only is it crucial, but highly underused in the Etsy world,” explained Bethany Dasko, owner of Humerus Wares.
Laura Hagan, owner of Jane Wear Jewelry, added, “During slower sales seasons, I know I can send out an email and almost guarantee I'll get a sale (or two or five or eleven) from my loyal repeat customers!”
AWeber users can immediately access the application by logging into their AWeber account and selecting the Etsy app in the “My Apps” showcase.
AWeber, headquartered in suburban Philadelphia, helps over 100,000 businesses, entrepreneurs and bloggers increase sales and profits through its suite of web-based email marketing software. The privately held, debt-free company was founded in 1998. For more information, visit aweber.com, subscribe to the AWeber blog, or follow @AWeber on Twitter and Facebook.
