CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- It's a once-in-a-lifetime kind of day and it's the last time we'll experience this numerical oddity this century.
For Leon Lee Franca, who was born at Summerville Medical Center on Wednesday morning, and her family, the unique date is one of several that runs in the family.
"He's not due until Dec. 28, but my husband actually mentioned yesterday that wouldn't it be cool if he came on Dec. 12 because my husband's birthday is Nov. 11, my other daughter's birthday is June 6, so we said, 'Oh, it would be cool to have one more baby that's on Dec. 12," said Tanya Franca.
Leon Franca weighed in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
