CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Less than a week after photos were released of a man wanted for breaking into cars and using stolen credit cards, a tip led police to make an arrest.
On the morning of December 3, two Ford Explorers were broken into while
parked at the East Shore Athletic Club on Ashley River Road. The thief
got away with various items including wallets, purses, a flip camera and
a smartphone.
Then, on December 6, police released surveillance photos of the suspect using the stolen credit cards. Officials say they then received a tip and just six days later a North Charleston man, 24-year-old Terrence Lamar Myers, was charged with
financial transaction card theft.
