CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police are looking for the bus driver who groped a student on two occasions.

One of the incidents happened more than a year ago and the second happened in October, police said.

According to the report, the underage victim told her mother that the driver of Durham Bus No. 616 brushed against her chest in the first incident. In the second incident, the driver squeezed the girl's butt, she said.

Police identified the driver as 47-year-old Macneil Deas of Adams Run.

The girl said both incidents happened when she was exiting the bus near her home.

Police said the girl did not report the incidents because "she was scared and unsure what she should do."

Officials with Durham Bus Services said the driver was removed from the bus when they first heard the allegations over a month ago.

Officials said Deas is still employed, but on leave without pay pending the outcome of the case.
