CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - The College of Charleston President George Benson offered his deepest sympathies Monday, on behalf of students of the College, to the Newtown Community.
The statement reads as follows:
The College of Charleston community offers its deepest sympathies and
condolences to those affected by the senseless killings in Newtown,
Connecticut.
Together, we mourn the loss of the 20 innocent children and six brave
staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary School. For our students,
alumni, employees, and friends with ties to Connecticut, please know
that, in this painful moment, we are all Connecticuters.
