NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A $100,000 dream came true on Tuesday.

The Seacoast Living Dream Center received a housing grant for their transitional living housing project in North Charleston. The grant came from the TD Bank Foundation's 2012 "Housing For Everyone" initiative.

Dream Center director Sam Lesky said the money will be put to good use.

"A lot was donated to us and I had the thought, 'What if we put a transitional living house on it?Something to help people who might be on the streets our coming out of rehab or a situation where they would need transitional living,'" Lesky said.

The Dream Center will provide transitional housing for low-income single women and their children.
