SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Summerville family of three lost their home in a fire Wednesday morning.
Olde Fort fire officials said they were called to the 100 block of Trickle Drive around 4:30 a.m. where they found heavy smoke and flames coming from a home.
The family -- a married couple and their daughter -- were all able to escape the fire, but they had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Fire officials said the home is a complete loss. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire, but they think it may have started in the garage.
