
On the 75th anniversary of the Hershey Bears first game in the AHL, the current Bears kept their winning ways going with the 4-0 shutout win over Norfolk on Wednesday night at Giant Center. Along with the victory, seven men were inducted into the first ever Hershey Bears Hall of Fame class.
The inductees included longtime player, coach and executive Frank Mathers and Lloyd Blinco. Legendary players Ralph Keller, Willie Marshall and Mike Nykoluk along one of the Bears founders John Sollenberger and game official Art Fausnacht. Their plaques are on display in the concourse at Giant Center.
