Crews respond to car flipped over in ditch along I-26

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The South Carolina Highway Patrol, EMS and fire trucks were on the scene of an accident on Interstate 26 early Wednesday morning.

A car could be seen resting on its top in the ditch of the 213A exit ramp on the east bound side of the interstate just before the Montague Avenue exit.

According to SCHP deputies, the accident happened just after 5:30 a.m. and injuries are reported.

Roads are wet from rainy conditions and drivers are asked to use caution in the area, avoiding onlooker delays.
