The Charleston Police Department released a picture of someone entering the mall on Christmas Eve. Officials say the person in the picture is a possible suspect.
A robbery was reported in the restroom near the Palmetto Moon store around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Police say the individual they are looking for is a black male, with medium skin tone and a "high and tight" hair style. The possible suspect is approximately 5'6" to 5'7" in height and 28-30 years of age. The victim and witness told police that the suspect had a small amount of scruffy facial hair. The jacket pictured above has red stripes down both sleeves and it appears as the lower right pant leg has an emblem or symbol on it.
The suspect was carrying a black and brown in color revolver which he used to gain the victim's wallet and cash. Both the victim and witness described the suspect's outward appearance as unkempt.
