MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Berkeley County Coroner said a man died in a tractor accident on Saturday night.

Coroner Bill Salisbury said 41-year-old Richard Watson Murray of Moncks Corner died when he lost control of his tractor and ran into a farm pond around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Murray was thrown from the tractor before it went into the water. Friends found his body about 30 minutes later.

Salisbury said Murray died from head trauma and the death has been ruled an accident.
