Georgetown deputies release photo of New Year's Eve bank robber

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Georgetown County is trying to identify a man who robbed a Pawleys Island bank on Monday. 

According to deputies, a lone white male entered the Citizens Bank at 10769 Ocean Highway 17 and demanded money from the employee. After taking cash, the man fled north, officers said. Witnesses said he was wearing a blue hoodie and jeans.

No one was injured and the man did not present a weapon, deputies said. 

Deputies have not released surveillance images of the man.

Anyone that can identify the suspect or has any information about the robbery is asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at (843) 546-5101.
