Charleston police make arrest in Dec. 23 armed robbery

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police arrested a man Wednesday morning  and charged him with an armed robbery. 

According to police, 18-year-old Antwon Rashad Brown was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime in connection to a Dec. 23 armed robbery on Saint Clair Drive.

Police said the robbery happened about 2 p.m.

Brown is currently being housed in the Al Cannon Detention Center.
