Burglars take a slice out of Dough Re Mi Pizza

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- Mount Pleasant police responded to the Dough Re Mi pizza parlor on Highway 17 Wednesday morning for reports of a possible burglary.

According to a police spokesman, they found the front door smashed but were not sure what, if anything, was taken from the business located in the Shoppes at Brickyard.

The restaurant is open for business, despite the crime scene tape up in their parking lot.
